Martine Breeden

Martine Breeden was born in northeastern Pennsylvania and moved to West Virginia in 1979. Martine has been with the firm for almost 10 years. She is a paralegal with an associate degree in Legal Studies from the University of Charleston and graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in 1982. Prior to working with the firm, Martine worked for a sub-contractor at Union Carbide as an office assistant. Martine works with clients in preparing their cases for trial or settlement. She is the mother of 12 year old twins. Her daughter plays soccer for John Adams Middle School and travel soccer for the WV Rowdies, church league basketball and softball for Charleston Central League. Her son plays soccer and basketball for John Adams Middle School, AAU basketball for the Mountain State Magic, and baseball for Charleston Central League. Kim Nuckles is a West Virginia native and grew up in the small Italian steel town of Benwood, West Virginia, home of the infamous “Undo’s Restaurant.” She graduated from John Marshall High School in Glen Dale, West Virginia in 1993.

She graduated magna cum laude from Wheeling Jesuit University in 1997, with a B.A. in Political Science and a focus on criminal justice. While at Wheeling Jesuit University Kim received honors and awards including being the sole representative of the University with President Father Acker at the Greenbrier Resort for the annual West Virginia Independent Colleges and Universities Foundation awards banquet. She was a member of the Excel Leadership program at Wheeling Jesuit and received high honors for her work with the Community Development Block Program in Wheeling. Kim was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the political science honor society and was on the Dean’s list each semester. Active in sports, she was also a cheerleader for the boys basketball team, a lacrosse player for three years and played intramural football.

After receiving her degree from Wheeling Jesuit University, and working toward a masters degree in Business Administration, she attended West Virginia University College of Law. While there, she had the honor of being selected for the Clinical Law Program. In this program law students provide legal services for those who cannot afford representation. It was in this program where Kim first began handling family law issues including divorces, adoptions and name changes. She received her J.D. in May, 2001.

Three days after graduating from West Virginia University College of Law, Kim began working for Lyne Ranson Law Offices, PLLC. She has been with the firm six years and has extensive knowledge regarding family law issues including divorce, custody, grandparent rights cases and adoptions. Kim handles the majority of the firm’s intake interviews where she meets and talks with each client. In the little spare time she has left she enjoys shopping and exercising. Kim says the best part of her day is going home to her husband, Scott, their beautiful daughter Delaney Grace and their Welsh Corgi, Rudy. You may reach Kim at KimNuckles@LyneRanson.com.

Jodie Hanna

This is the smiling face that greets you when you come in the front door. Jodie Hanna is the firm's office manager and handles all billing and accounting duties. In September, she will have been with the firm for 8 years. Jodie attended Horace Mann Junior High School and graduated from Stuart Hall HighSchool in Staunton, Virginia. She attended the University of Charleston where she obtained her Paralegal Certification. Jodie is currently a Junior at West Virginia State Univeristy majoring in Business Management.

Amy Wright

Amy Wright has been with the firm for 7 years. She is a paralegal and graduated from Nitro High School in 1989. Prior to working with the firm, Amy worked as a paralegal with another law firm. Amy works with clients in preparing their cases for trial or settlement. She is the mother of two boys, the oldest one being a 10th grader at Nitro High and the youngest one is an 8th grader at Andrew Jackson Middle School. Both of Amy's boys are involved in sports, the oldest one is a black stripe belt in Tae Kwon Do and her younger son plays basketball for his middle school and he is also on an AAU travel team. Amy enjoys traveling, cooking, shopping and watching sports, especially basketball in her spare time. She's a huge DUKE basketball fan. Amy spent her summers as a child traveling all over the United States with her family.
